
Business Manager (Ambulatory Surgery Center)

Our Ambulatory Surgery and Procedure Center has 10 operating rooms and 6 procedure rooms and last year we cared for almost 16,000 patients.
What you will do as an ASC Business Manager:
- Partners with the Ambulatory Surgery Center leadership, MHealth Leadership, Medical Director, surgeons, supply chain, finance and Service line administrators to coordinate and evaluate the operational and financial management activities.
- Develops methods to ensure prompt and effective access to care
- Assists in identification, development and successful execution of projects.
- Ensures alignment of project portfolio with the organization’s strategic plan and goals.
- Partners with leadership team to provide / coordinate / understand overall ASC / MHealth operations and data.
- Provides data and analysis on department performance; on time starts, cancellations, delays, budget performance, etc.
- Aligns with Supply chain and contracting to optimize best pricing for implants, supply costs, etc.
- Aligns EMR and technology to support care delivery
- Facilitates establishment of surgical trial protocols at all sites in partnership with clinical staff
- Collaborates with business owners to align project deliverables with business goals and organizational expectations.
- Communicates frequently with team and business owners regarding project issues and status.
- Successfully reaches project goals and success throughout politically sensitive situations.
What you will need:
- 5 + years of work experience in a health care managerial role and progressive administrative or business operations experience, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center, outpatient clinic, or healthcare setting.
- Business or Healthcare Administration degree, or an OR Licensed RN
Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare financial operations/management, including budgeting, revenue cycle management, billing, reimbursement processes, as well as leading people.
Proven experience with regulatory compliance requirements
Experience managing project and/or program budgets.
Experience and familiarity with EMR and clinical data collection

Compensation Disclaimer
The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical. If your role is eligible for a sign-on bonus, the bonus program that is approved and in place at the time of offer, is what will be honored.
