The Ambulatory PCT II/Service Representative promotes increased utilization of Loyola services by maintaining a customer service attitude that reflects the mission, vision, and values of Loyola Medicine. This role ensures effective clinical and clerical operations within the service area and performs all job duties under the highest customer service standards to exceed expectations.
The individual consistently conveys a professional and positive image of Loyola Medicine during interactions with patients, families, physicians, staff members, and internal departments.
General Patient Care
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, oxygen saturation checks, and waived testing
- Maintain patient safety at all times
- Assist with ambulation of patients using assistive devices (cane, walker, crutches)
- Support transfer and transport procedures as needed
- Assist with completion of patient testing and treatment procedures as specified by clinic protocols
- Provide wound care, including dressing changes
Front Office Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ownership of front office operations
- Greet and interact with patients and family members in a professional, welcoming manner
- Follow established protocols for patient check-in and check-out processes
- Monitor patient wait times and ensure timely service delivery
Qualifications
Minimum Education
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
- Preferred: At least one (1) year of previous job-related experience, C.N.A., Front Desk
Licensure/Certifications
- Required: (upon hire)
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- BLS CPR thru the American Heart Association
COMPENSATION
Pay Range: $18.00- $24.44 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
