Job Description

Avanade Canada is looking for a Managed Services Lead to grow our managed services business across Canada. In this senior, highly visible role, you’ll shape go-to-market strategy, partner with sales and delivery leaders, and influence complex deals that expand our market presence and client value.

What you’ll do

  • Own Canada’s managed services growth strategy and sales outcomes.
  • Partner with regional leadership, sales, delivery, and ecosystem partners to build pipeline and win priority opportunities.
  • Shape managed services solution strategy, deal constructs, and proposals for complex, end-to-end engagements.
  • Lead and mentor a team of managed services solution architects; build reusable sales and delivery assets.
  • Engage executives and client stakeholders through workshops, reviews, and value-based presentations.

You’re a client-focused leader with a track record of growing managed services, shaping complex deals, and building long-term executive relationships. You communicate clearly, influence effectively, and thrive in a matrixed environment.

Skills & experience

  • 10+ years in sales/solution leadership in technology services (managed services preferred).
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and influence senior stakeholders (including C-level).
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies across cloud (Azure), modern workplace, business apps, and data/AI.
  • Strong deal shaping, commercial acumen, and ability to build business cases.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business/technology (or equivalent experience).

Preferred qualifications

  • Managed services or outsourcing delivery model experience (onshore/offshore/nearshore).
  • Service management knowledge (e.g., ITIL) and experience integrating service partners.
  • Solution architecture leadership for large, multi-tower engagements.

How success is measured

Success in this role is measured by managed services revenue growth, deal conversion, and client satisfaction outcomes.

Location & travel

Location is flexible within Canada. Travel to client sites and occasional visits to delivery centers may be required.

Some schedule flexibility may be needed to support pursuits or service matters.

Compensation at Avanade varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Avanade provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

The base pay range shown below is intended as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role.

It does not represent a maximum limit — in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate.

In addition to base pay, this Sales role is eligible for additional incentive compensation under the Sales Achievement Bonus Plan which is based on achievement toward individual sales targets, subject to Plan terms.
