Key Responsibilities
- Develop test fixtures/hardware and printed circuit boards to support device test and calibration.
- Develop test and calibration software, commonly using .Net, NI LabVIEW / Test Stand, and/or C#.
- Utilize custom designed test systems and/or industry standard ATEs for device test and characterization.
- Work with Engineering team to determine test and calibration requirements.
- Collaborate with a multifunctional and multi-site international team to support device test, characterization, and qualification for new product releases
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team and a role model of accountability, transparency, and collaboration.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field.
- Advanced expertise in developing comprehensive test strategies and diagnostic systems to validate product functionality against specifications and identify complex performance issues.
- Significant experience designing and building complex test fixtures, equipment, and standardized test procedures to ensure accurate, repeatable results across multiple product lines.
- Proven ability to lead qualification and testing efforts, including defining testing standards, improving quality systems, and ensuring alignment with industry requirements and benchmarks.
- Strong technical leadership skills, with demonstrated success solving complex system- and equipment-level issues, mentoring engineers, and collaborating across cross-functional teams.
- Solid capability in managing testing resources across multiple projects, optimizing schedules, equipment utilization, and overall efficiency.
- Technical proficiency and working knowledge of software development principles, including object-oriented programming, and advanced understanding of PCB design principles.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Climate-controlled electronics manufacturing services floor with additional time in an office setting.
