- Perform preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance with minimal supervision
- Conduct routine inspections, lubrication, filter changes, and cleaning
- Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and transportation systems
- Learn and follow the company’s preventive maintenance program
- Recommend spare parts and preventative maintenance improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency
- Perform outdoor maintenance work year-round, including snow removal, concrete patching, and vehicle cleaning
- Support general building and facility upkeep as needed
- Coordinate with outside service providers and contractors
- Obtain estimates and support cost-effective maintenance solutions
- Assist with the execution and completion of contracted work
- Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a strong safety culture
- Assist with safety initiatives across the facility
- Participate on the Safety Committee
- Develop working knowledge of fire suppression and security systems
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience working with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and transportation systems
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Valid driver’s license
- Associate degree or technical certification
- Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and troubleshooting guides
- Experience with CNC mills and lathes
- Experience with control systems and 3-phase electrical power
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems
- Forklift and scissor lift experience
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, grasp, and climb throughout the workday
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work at heights using ladders and platforms
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks using hands, arms, and tools
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all seasons, including inclement weather
- Visual and manual dexterity required to safely perform maintenance and repairs
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
