
Middle School Career and Technical Education (CTE) Teacher - Teacher Academy Pathway
Job Description
Caesar Rodney School District is seeking an innovative, student-centered educator to serve as a full-time Middle School Career & Technical Education (CTE) Teacher within the Teacher Academy pathway at Fifer Middle School.
The successful candidate will inspire students to explore careers in education while developing foundational leadership, communication, collaboration, and instructional skills aligned to Delaware middle grades CTE standards and the Delaware Pathways initiative.
The Teacher Academy pathway introduces students to careers in education and human services through engaging, hands-on learning experiences that emphasize leadership, child development, collaboration, professionalism, and career readiness. Delaware's Teacher Academy pathway is designed to build a future educator pipeline through career exploration, work-based learning, and authentic instructional experiences.
Individuals who are eligible or possess Skilled and Technical Sciences Teacher in one of the Hospitality, Events, and Tourism or Education subclusters, Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher or Middle Level Education certification are encouraged to apply.
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must meet State of Delaware certification requirements for Skilled and Technical Sciences teacher in one of the Hospitality, Events, and Tourism or Education subclusters, Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher or Middle Level Education. Successful candidates must provide evidence of successful PRAXIS II scores or a valid out of state teaching license.

SALARY: In accordance with the State of Delaware and local salary schedules, based on experience and degree. Benefits package included.

- Individuals must provide official transcripts, if applicable, updated resume, and three (3) letters of recommendation.
- All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District are required to submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
- Anyone offered employment is required to provide the following: proper identification (Social Security Card and Driver's License), documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S.A., completion of I-9 form, and completion of paperwork for the Delaware Child Protection Registry.
