The Boon Group has an exciting career opportunity for an Account Manager. The Account Manager provides the day-to-day management and client service support for assigned clients. They will serve multiple clients with various employee benefits and act as a liaison between the clients, brokers, vendors and internal Company resources and departments. They serve as a subject matter expert on the Services Contract Act and the Davis Bacon Act and other health insurance and compliance arenas. How you'll make an impact Act as client’s advocate and main point of contact. Liaise with internal departments and decision makers. Develop and nurture relationships with clients. Keeps client informed of all day-to-day changes, billing or enrollment issues, compliance information, etc. Ensures accurate and timely servicing of accounts. Stays abreast of current news, legislation, technologies and trends in the employee benefits industry. Drives renewal process from beginning to end including reporting, quote request submission, & coordination with internal departments. Develop expertise on legislation pertaining to government contracting. Assists in the open enrollment process and all activities with the client, vendors and internal departments. Renew and grow book of business. Travel to client offices on a regular basis. Follow the company policies and procedures required to comply with applicable data privacy and confidentiality requirements, including but not limited to SOC controls, and HIPAA Privacy and Security regulations. Constant strive for growth for current book are integral to bringing in new accounts for the Company as well as maintaining positive relationships with existing clients and growing those accounts. Other duties as assigned. About You Required: Minimum 1 year of experience in an account management role preferred. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related experience. Experience in the employee benefits industry a plus. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) Salesforce experience preferred. Group 1 insurance license (must have or obtain in the first 90 days of employment). Regular national travel required Compensation and benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
