Job Description

Your mission

Key Tasks
  • Deliver ground instruction on UAS-related topics (mechanical and avionic).
  • Develop lesson plans, presentations, and training materials for different learning environments.
  • Check student progress through written exams and practical knowledge assessment.
  • Cooperate with flight instructors and maintenance technicians to align ground instruction and practical UAS training.

 Competencies & Duties

  • Working independently and responsibly. Perform tasks as described above.
  • Compliance according to ANAVIA’ employment contract, compliance with company’ safety instructions and employee’ safety requirements, compliance with employers’ quality manual, work instructions and corresponding process specifications and instructions.
 
 

Your profile

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Aerospace, Engineering, Education, or a related field desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of previous experience in UAS operations or aviation instruction required. Familiarity with mission planning, risk assessment, and flight safety management systems. Background working with training simulators software tools is a plus.
  • Proficiency with: Risk management frameworks, safety management systems (SMS), and crew resource management (CRM). Digital learning tools and instructional technologies (e.g., PowerPoint, LMS platforms, e-learning content creation) are desirable.
  • Skills: Remote Pilot Certificate preferred. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across disciplines.
  • Communication: Very good communication skills. High social skills and good analytical and excellent technical understanding.
  • Language: Good language skills in English (oral and written). German desirable.
  • Eligibility: Swiss or EU Nationals only.
  • Location: On-Site in Näfels | Bilten, Switzerland.
