As a Senior Engineer Pharmatechnology, you will take a leading role in the design and implementation of complex GMP-compliant production systems, driving innovation in sterile manufacturing and supporting our clients globally.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of pharmaceutical production systems, focusing on aseptic filling (vials, syringes) and lyophilization from concept to handover
- Take ownership of complex engineering solutions in formulation, material handling, and supporting processes
- Manage suppliers and equipment packages from specification through FAT/SAT to qualification (DQ, IQ, OQ)
- Act as a technical expert and key interface for clients, internal teams, and external partners
- Ensure full compliance with GMP regulations and quality standards while driving continuous improvement
- Support project management activities including scheduling, cost estimation, and risk assessment
Show your expertise
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical engineering, process/chemical engineering, biotechnology, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical plant engineering, process design, or drug product manufacturing
- Strong expertise in aseptic processes and GMP-regulated environments
- Proven experience in managing suppliers and engineering packages across project phases
- Solid understanding of qualification processes and regulatory requirements
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English (B2) and German (C1); French is a plus
- Willingness to travel within Switzerland
