Job Description

Edelman is a voice synonymous with trust, reimagining a future where the currency of communication is action. Our culture thrives on three promises: boldness is possibility, empathy is progress, and curiosity is momentum.

At Edelman, we understand diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) transform our colleagues, our company, our clients, and our communities. We are in relentless pursuit of an equitable and inspiring workplace that is respectful of all, reflects and represents the world in which we live, and fosters trust, collaboration and belonging.

Edelman is a global integrated communications agency.

We’re passionate, unconventional and driven by a desire to do the best work possible. We get results for our clients, and have the trophies to prove it

DJE Studio is Edelman’s integrated global centre of excellence for content creation and production, built to help our expert client teams deliver high-quality content and design work with greater speed, consistency, and craft.

Across APAC, the Studio operates as a regional hub-and-spoke model, connecting specialised talent across design, motion, video, post-production, digital, localisation, and AI-enabled production to support both local market needs and multi-market regional briefs.

We are in a relentless pursuit of excellence. Our team is dynamic and we’re constantly evolving but our aim remains unchanged: to make the best possible content.

We are looking for a Designer to join the APAC DJE Studio team. This role is ideal for a fast, thoughtful, and versatile designer who can move confidently across brand, campaign, social, editorial, presentation, and motion-led work.

You’ll support a wide range of regional and market briefs, turning ideas and information into clear, compelling, well-crafted visual assets. The role requires strong design fundamentals, sharp layout skills, sensitivity to brand systems, and the ability to work quickly without compromising quality.

This is not a role for a designer who only waits for detailed instructions. We need someone who can interpret briefs independently, ask the right questions, make smart creative decisions, and collaborate fluidly with teams across APAC.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interpret briefs independently, generate multiple design options, and work comfortably within structured workflows, briefs, systems and QA processes.
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail, design consistency and formatting accuracy across all outputs.
  • Manage time effectively, establish priorities, and maintain flexibility to respond to changing demands, tight deadlines and short-turnaround requests.
  • Manage multiple design jobs and projects simultaneously while maintaining responsiveness, confidentiality and consistently high-quality standards.
  • Work closely with producers to schedule projects, coordinate production and ensure smooth delivery across teams and markets.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, creative leadership, external vendors and Edelman’s global design network to deliver integrated creative solutions.
  • Remain open to iteration, feedback and refinement throughout the creative process, with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and can-do attitude.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 3-4 years of relevant experience, preferably within an agency or studio environment supporting fast-paced, high-volume creative production.
  • A degree in Fine Arts, Advertising or Graphic Design, with a strong understanding of graphic design principles, layout, composition and typography.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Experience with PowerPoint and Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Skills and familiarity with GenAI tools and workflows are expected.
  • Experience in Premiere Pro and After Effects is a strong advantage.
  • A diverse portfolio demonstrating branding, presentations, infographics, digital/interactive, advertising, social and print design work, with evidence of both strong execution and conceptual thinking.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute quickly at scale while maintaining high creative standards and close attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, shifting priorities and day-to-day changes across every level of detail.
  • Excellent verbal communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally within fast-paced teams.

Please include an online portfolio link in order to be considered.

We are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t perfectly align with every qualification, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
