Material Handler

As a Foil Material Handler, you are the engine that keeps our production lines moving efficiently. You will support the Foil & Emboss Pressman and Machine Operators to ensure non-stop operations.   Pay: $17.50 - 20.90/hr (Night Shift Differential) On Demand Pay available (access a portion of your earned pay before pay day)   Shift: Monday – Thursday  7:00pm - 7:00am   Location: Hagerstown MD   Culture & Engagement: Safety First Standard, Food Trucks, Employee Events, Holiday Parties, Employee Recognition Program, Advancement Opportunities!     Job Responsibilities:   Receive, stage, and prep incoming jobs from other departments using pallet flippers, pallet jacks, and hand stacking/jogging. Move and load material throughout the shift to keep equipment fully stocked with printed stock, foil, and consumables. Cross-train to relieve machine operators for scheduled breaks to ensure continuous production. Assist operators with machine make-readies, as well as Daily (AM) and Preventative (PM) maintenance activities. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by performing daily, weekly, and monthly housekeeping tasks. Accurately report all time and production results per company standards.     What You Bring   Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions and job tickets. High level of attention to detail and a strong team-player mentality. Mechanically inclined mindset. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. 6+ months of manufacturing experience or technical training with a printing concentration is preferred.   Physical Requirements & Working Conditions Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a 12-hour shift. Ability to occasionally lift 30–65 lbs. Ability to push/pull up to 1,100 lbs. utilizing a manual pallet jack. Must be able to pass a color differentiation test and maintain that capability Ability to properly wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
