Resp Therapist II -Emergency Room

This position will work one shift per week at the Huber Heights freestanding ED, and one shift per week at the Preble County Freestanding ED, with Huber Heights being your home cost center. Registered Respiratory Therapists provide high level clinical respiratory care under indirect technical supervision, as assigned by the Supervisor or Team Lead. Responsibilities include assessing patients, performing diagnostic tests to determine the underlying causes and extent of illness or injury, operating therapeutic gas administration equipment, administering medication therapy as prescribed, managing mechanical ventilators, assessing and developing a plan of care utilizing approved therapist driven protocols and providing emergency care during medical emergencies.
