Description
The Quality Assurance Analyst, Associate will join Infor's CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) team. This role is primarily focused on manual testing (80%), ensuring the quality, reliability, and usability of a cloud-based application through comprehensive validation of new features, enhancements, defect fixes, and release cycles. The remaining 20% of the role involves exposure to automation-related initiatives.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and fellow QA professionals to deliver high-quality software that meets customer expectations.

A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
- Develop and execute test cases based on defined requirements
- Identify, document, and track software defects and issues with clear and concise descriptions.
- Collaborate with BA and development teams to understand requirements and ensure alignment with quality standards
- Perform testing activities including feature testing (functional and non-functional), regression testing, and bug/defect testing
- Minimal exposure to automation using C# and AI-assisted testing
- Analyze test results and provide actionable feedback for product improvements
- Utilize tools such as Jira and Zephyr for test management and defect tracking
- Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the QA team
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, software testing principles, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Hands-on experience performing manual testing in web-based or cloud-based applications.
- Experience creating and executing test cases, test scenarios, and defect reports.
- Familiarity with defect lifecycle management and bug tracking processes.
- Basic exposure to automation testing
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to identify risks and defects proactively.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical background with automation concepts
- Exposure to object-oriented programming
- Basic understanding of C#
