What You Can Expect
As a Senior Clinical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting surgeons, theatre staff and the broader sales team across your territory. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of orthopaedic surgical cases, ensuring Zimmer Biomet products, implants, and instrumentation are available, prepared and supported throughout the entire surgical process.
In this role, you will spend significant time in the operating theatre and hospital environment, working closely with surgeons, registrars, nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding clinical support and customer service. You will provide product training and in-servicing, support case coverage across your territory and provide state level support as required.
How You'll Create Impact
- Deliver end-to-end case management support, coordinating surgical cases from booking through to product usage, instrumentation management and case completion
- Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals through product training, in-servicing and ongoing clinical support within the operating theatre and hospital environment
- Collaborate closely with Sales Representatives and Territory Managers to identify business opportunities, support territory growth initiatives and enhance customer experience
- Lead and contribute to special projects that improve operational efficiency, case coverage, clinical support effectiveness and customer outcomes across the territory
- Maintain accurate reporting, inventory management, consignment reviews and compliance with quality, regulatory and company requirements
- Continuously expand your clinical, product, and technical knowledge to provide expert support on Zimmer Biomet's orthopaedic portfolio and emerging technologies
What Makes You Stand Out
- Experience supporting orthopaedic procedures, with strong knowledge of primary and revision implant portfolios
- Tertiary qualifications in Health, Nursing, Science or a related discipline
- A passion for delivering exceptional clinical support and improving patient outcomes
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with confidence engaging surgeons, nurses and healthcare professionals
Your Background
- Previous operating theatre experience within orthopaedics or medical devices
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Positive, can-do attitude with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Strong organisational, time management and project coordination skills
- Ability to learn and apply complex clinical, technical and operational information quickly
Travel Expectations
- Extensive travel to variety of hospitals in Perth
- Ocassional travel to regional WA locations
- Infrequent Interstate/overseas travel as required
