What we’re looking for:

We are looking for a high energy Office Manager to help ensure our office is running smoothly and efficiently. This person will be the glue that connects all the other Surfly teams by organizing team outings and ensuring the office is fully equipped with the right resources. The person will also be the first point of contact people meet when they call or come visit our office. Beyond office related duties, this role will also cover most of the HR related activities at Surfly, some examples are organizing the onboarding of employees, overseeing the performance review cycles as well as managing our HR systems.



To be successful in this role, you will need to be exceptionally well organized, have a high EQ, and be able to anticipate the needs of the organization. Passion for what we are building and excitement to help make our work environment into the best place to do our best work are key.





Responsibilities:

  • Make sure the office is equipped with all the needs of the team (ordering office supplies & groceries)
  • Organize team outings and events
  • Manage and optimize HR processes and duties (employee overviews, onboarding, performance reviews etc.)
  • Manage information for internal (staff) and external communication
  • Take minutes during meetings
  • Take on tasks as an assistant to the Management Team
  • Facility Management

Job Requirements


  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in office management, office assistance or HR Qualification in Admin Management or equivalent experience is a plus
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • A “get-things-done” mentality
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in G Suite
  • The ability to get along with people from all walks of life
  • Impeccable organisational and time management skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills for efficient collaboration across the different teams at Surfly, as well as with external stakeholders
  • Prior start-up/scale-up experience is preferred
