Non Certified Aide- PRN- Assisted Living

The Army Residence Community (ARC) is seeking caring and dependable individuals to join our Assisted Living team as PRN Resident Care Assistants. This position is ideal for those who are passionate about helping seniors and are looking for a flexible work schedule.

As a Resident Care Assistant, you will provide personal care and support services that help residents maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life in a safe and welcoming environment.

Position Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Assist with meal service and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to nursing staff.
• Respond promptly to resident requests and call lights.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Promote resident independence while providing respectful and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in caregiving, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and assisting residents with mobility.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to excellent customer service.
• Must be dependable and able to work independently and as part of a team.
