The Army Residence Community (ARC) is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our healthcare team. In this rewarding role, you will help ensure residents receive medications safely and accurately while providing exceptional care and service in a supportive senior living environment.

Position Responsibilities

  • Administer medications as prescribed and in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.
  • Observe residents for medication effectiveness and potential side effects.
  • Accurately document medication administration and resident information.
  • Communicate resident concerns and changes in condition to the nursing team.
  • Assist with resident care activities as assigned.
  • Maintain medication carts, supplies, and records in a safe and organized manner.
  • Promote a positive, respectful, and resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

  • Current Texas Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification required.
  • Current Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to resident safety.
  • Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or senior healthcare preferred.
