The candidate needs to attend all shipyard's inspections phases agreed with NCLH with the scope to ensure contractual documentation will be followed, including all std. and regulations.
Patrolling activities are required during construction's phases to verify that also out of the agreed inspections, activities are performed following what is contractually due, highlighting in advance errors or non acceptable details.
It is requested the ability to read contractual documentation, including layout, precoordination and foundation, ceilings, drawings, item list, data sheet and equipment manuals.
Agreed inspection phases are relative to weldings integrity check, potable water distribution and pressure test, chilled water distribution and pressure test, chilled water insulation, pre-paneling, pre-ceiling, pre-flooring inspection, final inspection, test memo for the equipment, hoods, man trapped, electrical corrispondence etc.
Experienced skills in marine construction and coordination of the activities are well accepted being an important part of the Sr. Surveyor responsibility to improve the quality of the products.
Employee will be the headfront of the surveryors in the shipyard also in front of frontman, to support company's decisions, always in agreement with the relative manager in charge of the construction.
