School Counselor

Elementary School Counselor:  Experience working with elementary school aged children preferred.

• Conducts classroom guidance lessons.
• Assist students with academic, emotional, social and behavioral issues
• Provides individual counseling and check-ins.
• Creates and facilitates small group counseling groups in response to students' needs and or conflict resolution.
• Collaborate with parents/guardians, teachers, support staff, administration, and any local agencies which might be of assistance to the students.
• Teaches social skills groups.
• Responsible for 504 plans.
• Strong communication and documentation skills
