Barista

Responsibilities:

 

• Craft a wide range of specialty coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks, pour-overs, and cold brews, adhering to standardized recipes and our elevated hospitality standards
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of our coffee menu, including origins, flavor profiles, and brewing methods to educate and guide guests
• Operate and maintain high-end espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment with precision and care
• Provide exceptional guest service, creating a welcoming atmosphere in line with our luxury environment
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Manage inventory of coffee supplies and handle cash transactions accurately
• Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on industry trends and improve barista skills
• Support opening and closing procedures, and assist in developing seasonal drink specials

 

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in coffee brewing techniques
• Adequate knowledge of various coffee beans and their distinct flavor profiles
• Experience in operating espresso machines and other brewing equipment
• Aptitude for providing high-quality customer service
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to handle orders effectively
• Professionalism in maintaining a clean and organized workspace
