Head Night Custodian

Hutchinson Public Schools is looking for a Head Night Custodian. This position starts at $16.25 an hour and is commensurate with education and experience.

Essential Duties Include:

• Ability to check steam boilers, HVAC systems, air compressors and other mechanical & electrical equipment in a school building
• Must have knowledge of all types of custodial equipment, procedures for cleaning and the ability to train others
• Set up and take down seating and equipment used for school and public meetings in building
• Assist in snow removal on site and keep sidewalks clear throughout the day
• Understand all principles of cleaning
• Aide in the development of the summer cleaning plan
