Key Responsibilities

Support project teams in administering contracts and managing commercial/claims activities across multidisciplinary, multinational project environments. The role suits an early-career professional with approximately 7 years of industry experience and who learns quickly, follows structured guidance, and collaborates effectively across diverse teams and disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track and maintain contract registers, obligations, deliverables, and milestones; ensure timely notifications.
  • Review, negotiate and finalize Terms and Conditions of Client Contract and Vendor Purchase Orders
  • Assist in drafting contractual correspondence with clear, concise English.
  • Liaise across Engineering, Procurement, Project Controls, and Site teams to consolidate inputs.
  • Gather facts and documents to analyze contractual and commercial claims.
  • Support preparation of claims narratives, quantification, and supporting evidence.
  • Monitor costs, risks, and opportunities and maintain commercial trackers.
  • Prepare meeting notes and follow-ups; maintain documentation quality.
  • Apply company contract management standards, templates, and controls.

Work Experience

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5-7 years in contract administration, commercial support or handling of claims, and analysis of Terms and Conditions of Contract.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or relevant discipline.
  • Experience in the energy sector (O&G, power generation, EPC/EPCM) is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in English; able to draft contractual letters and interpret contract clauses.
  • Ability to negotiate Terms and Conditions of customer and Vendor contracts
  • Strong MS Office and SharePoint skills.

  • Contract Duration: 24 months, extendable based on performance and project need.
  • Location: Singapore.
  • Mobility: Occasional business travel might be necessary.
