SITE SAFETY SUPERVISOR

General Description

Supervising and implementing the HVN Safety & Environmental management systems and Viet Nam law across all breweries of HVN. Our job performance is within the framework of the BV Quality Assurance System, QHSE policy, Codes of Ethics and BV Group’s policies and procedures.

Tasks – Activities – Responsibilities:

• Based on Heineken procedure standard to supervise and ensure the contractors follow effectively
• Based on safe work permit process, responsible to sign in HVN safe work permit(s) as the role of permit issuer.
• Carry out daily safety audits and follow up, directly report to PSM to close gaps timely.
• Train the safety topic to contractor according to PSM’s assignment.
• Random, regularly inspection tool and equipment of contractor on safety and environment.
• Check and submit to PSM for signing the safety documents submitted by contractors based on the Project safety fundamental.
• Stop unsafe act onsite and report to PSM in case of dangerous situation
• Find unsafe condition and work with contractors close timely
• Investigate accident, incident and near miss that are reported and ensure proper records are completed and submitted according to HVN forms.
• Cooperate with consultant/contractor timely and contribute to the Project HSE management effetely.
• Follow weekly site inspection and track the agreed corrective action plans are implemented.
• Ensure safety records and reports keep track timely
• Join with the emergency team to handle the emergency cases onsite
• Promote contractors implement safety campaign program as assigned
• Follow other instruction and direction of PSM if any.

Candidate Profile:

• College degree the major for Technology, Environment and understand the industrial installation process
• Basic understanding of the legal requirements for the safety, environment occupational
• Have safety certificate according to VN law.
• At least 03 years’ experience for handling safety at the construction site.

Technical and professional skills:

• Well trained for contractor safety topic such as safety induction, working at height, confined space
• Have the competency related to safe scaffolding system as advance scaffolding level III
• Good knowledge for inspection the critical safety equipment (cranes, pressured vessels, electrical devices, etc) at the construction site
• Have the competency as lifting supervisor
