HR Specialist, HR Services


Mexicali, BC, México – Onsite

 

The HR Specialist, HR Services is responsible for managing the daily operations of Human Resources Shared Services and delivering efficient, high-quality HR support to employees and managers across the organization. This role focuses on employee lifecycle management, HR inquiries, onboarding, transfers, promotions, offboarding, employee data management, and benefits administration while ensuring an exceptional employee experience.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage employee HR inquiries through email, phone, and ticketing systems while providing timely and accurate support
  • Escalate complex HR issues to senior leadership when necessary
  • Coordinate onboarding activities and materials to ensure a smooth new hire experience
  • Prepare transfer and promotion documentation and support employee transitions
  • Manage offboarding activities and related documentation
  • Maintain employee records in HR systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data privacy requirements
  • Generate HR reports and maintain employee data integrity
  • Support employee benefits administration including enrollments, changes, and terminations
  • Assist with attendance and leave administration to ensure accuracy and timely processing
  • Participate in training and development activities to strengthen HR knowledge and best practices
  • Provide general administrative support including scheduling, document management, and related activities

 

More about you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Human Resources, or related field required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-service mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Experience with SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, or similar HR/CRM systems preferred
  • English proficiency required; Portuguese or German is a plus

 

A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova
