Job description
The incumbent will be responsible for managing solid waste collection, waste segregation, recycling activities, scheduled waste management, and supporting PHE / Engineering operational functions. This role also involves supervising daily operations, ensuring workplace cleanliness and safety, maintaining compliance with legal and IMS requirements, and driving cost-saving initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day solid waste and scheduled waste operations

Supervise staff performance, productivity, discipline, and overtime

Coordinate repair and maintenance activities

Liaise with internal users and other departments on operational matters

Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and IMS standards

Prepare operational reports, preventive maintenance schedules, and budgets

Monitor operational costs and support continuous improvement initiatives

Conduct inspections, training, and operational briefings
Job Requirements:

Degree holder in Environmental Science or any related disciplines
-
Or Diploma in any disciplines/ SPM with 3 - 5 years of related working experience.

Experience in waste management, facilities management, engineering operations, or related fields

Knowledge of scheduled waste handling, recycling operations, and compliance requirements

Good communication, reporting, and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced resort environment

Willing to base at Resorts World Genting, Pahang.
