Hybrid model 3 days per week in the office /2 days for a parent of a child up to 4 years old
Join us as a Private Funds Analyst- Capital Partners!
The Private Funds Analyst - is responsible for supporting operational activities including reconciliation between our Investment Book of Record (trading platform) and Advantage (accounting platform). Such operational processes include securities and cash processing, trade activity, proxy, Corporate Actions, K1 filing, Capital Call, Subscription, Redemption and Distribution notifications and tax lots to ensure the transaction flow between Cap Partners systems are in line with the custodian. The Specialist will also work with the business line to resolve inquiries and provide client service support.
Some of your key responsibilities include:
- Transaction Processing
- Review daily reconciliation in IBOR (Investment Book of Record) and resolve and process position breaks (between IBOR and Addvantage).
- Process security and cash transactions to accounting (Addvantage).
- Compile a yearly list of investors in all private funds.
- Notify relationship teams of upcoming Capital Calls and distributions.
- Review client documentation to ensure they are eligible to subscribe into Alternative Assets.
- Reconcile and vote Proxy on behalf of clients.
- Ensure new accounts are set up with our Proxy Vendor in a timely manner.
- Serve as a primary contact for the relationship management staff on private fund operational matters
- Serve as a liaison among relationship management teams, accounting, risk, compliance, and operational departments supporting BBH’s private funds business
- Coordinate the client on-boarding process for BBH private funds: review client questionnaires; compile client data from various sources; oversee subscription/capital call funding process; log and communicate investor redemption requests; provide reports to various internal constituencies
- Handle logistics of new client portal access with administrator
- Research and elevate reporting issues
- Research and approve account closing approvals
- Draft assignment agreements and coordinate processing of assignments with fund administrator
- Coordinate activities associated with secondary sales of private funds
- Communicate investor contact updates to fund administrator
- Client Service
- Address client inquiries and process client requests timely.
- Resolve problems related to a client account or maintenance (i.e. changes to client accounts, forwarding changes, etc)
- Escalate client issues/problems to management if not resolved timely.
- Process/Productivity Improvement
- Gain efficiencies to improve individual productivity.
- Gain an understanding of the big picture – how specific function impacts the firm.
- Contribute to Division or Firm process improvement activities.
- Assist team members with day to day activities when needed/ providing backup.
- Communicate professionally and constructively to effectively resolve issues to minimize risk and exposure.

Desired Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5 + years of industry experience.
- Demonstrated PC skills.
- Ability to identify, escalate and resolve problems/issues.
- Ability to communicate professionally through effective verbal and written skills.
- Demonstrates efficient time management skills.
- Demonstrates organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Proactive self-starter who is goal oriented.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, AddVantage (accounting system) and Charles River / IBOR (trading platform) Broadridge or Private Funds a plus.
Working hours: between 9:00 and 18:00 with lunch break
