Job Description
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily maintenance activities at the Szarvas seed processing facility, ensuring equipment reliability, operational continuity, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
This role plays a key part in coordinating maintenance resources, leading technicians, and driving continuous improvement in maintenance practices to support efficient plant operations.
Main responsibilities:
- Maintenance Operations (35%)
Plan, coordinate, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure equipment availability and optimal performance. - Team Supervision & Coordination (25%)
Lead and organize the maintenance team, including technicians and contractors. Ensure effective workload distribution, shift coordination, and performance management. - Equipment Reliability & Improvement (15%)
Identify recurring issues and lead root cause analysis. Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime. - Safety & Compliance (10%)
Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with safety regulations and Corteva EHS standards. Promote safe working practices within the team. - Planning & Documentation (10%)
Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure proper use of maintenance management systems. Support the development of maintenance plans and schedules. - Cross-functional Collaboration (5%)
Work closely with production, engineering, and EHS teams to align maintenance priorities and support operational goals.

Location:

Requirements:
- Technical degree (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering preferred)
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in maintenance within an industrial environment
- Previous experience in supervising teams is an advantage
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems
- Experience with maintenance planning tools (CMMS)
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
- Fluent English is an advantage
