Position Purpose:
The Lot Attendant is responsible for working in conjunction with the Customer Experience Leader to provide world class service and support for all yard related needs.

Position Purpose:
The Lot Attendant is responsible for working in conjunction with the Customer Experience Leader to provide world class service and support for all yard related needs.
Position Responsibilities:
- Continuously learn, share, and implement improvements in all processes and responsibilities as needed to enhance effectiveness of providing world class service and support.
Trailers
- Relay information to the Yard manager when a trailer comes on the yard.
- Inspect & park returned trailers and new trailers that are delivered.
- If a trailer is returned with decals, park on Hinton for decal removal.
- Install unit numbers, tags, &fleet locates.
- Remove tags on sold trailers.
- Release sold and leased trailers.
- When releasing a leased trailer make sure it has a current DOT and tag. Also make sure the registration and DOT paperwork are in the document holder.
- Assist with tires as needed.
- Assist customers that come in to inspect equipment.
- Weighing / Scaling at times.
- Tire Inventory / Sales.
- Install Fleet Locate units.
- Perform minor repairs as needed.
Trucks
- Communicate with the Yard manager.
- Inspect trucks that come out of the shops for redo’s (TEL and CVEN Trucks)
- Release sold and leased trucks.
- Install mattresses.
- Install GPS.
- Perform minor repairs as needed.
- DOT new trucks.
- Remove tires from the shop.
- Send in Detail report daily (AM).
- Send in Tire inventory several times a week.
- Transport trucks around the yard when needed.
- Assist customers that come in to inspect equipment.
- Inspect new equipment upon arrival.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong working knowledge of Trucks & Trailers.
- Database experience.
- Reliable attendance.
- Complete all documents associated with releasing & inspecting equipment.
- Positive, high energy and desire to work hard to accomplish goals.
- High level of data accuracy.
- Strong communication skills.
- Networking internally and externally to manage and solve problems.
- Be a forward thinker and suggest process improvements.
- Effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Team oriented and able to perform duties with minimal supervision.
Wage: $22 - $24 per hour
