Job Description
As a Project Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining resource-loaded, logic-driven critical path schedules. Your goal will be to work closely with key stakeholders across Engineering, Supply Management, Project Management, and Construction to support the successful planning and execution of capital projects. Your success will be demonstrated in the delivery of sustaining capital and capital growth projects across the organization.

Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain fully integrated, resource-loaded, logic-linked project schedules
- Integrate contractor schedules into the overall project schedule to ensure alignment and consistency
- Coordinate and facilitate schedule development workshops with stakeholders, including Engineering, Supply Management, Contractors, and Construction teams
- Identify and communicate critical and near-critical paths, including float analysis
- Deliver timely and accurate contractor schedule reviews, progress updates, and reporting
- Analyze schedule performance data, including manpower requirements, forecasting, progress (% complete), and key risks and opportunities
- Collaborate with Project Controls and Estimating teams to ensure alignment of schedules with cost and scope
- Apply established scheduling standards, procedures, and industry best practices
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities and partner with stakeholders to implement enhancements
- Lead and/or participate in schedule review sessions to validate logic, sequencing, resource allocation, and constraints
Your Skills:

- Proven ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, from field personnel to senior leadership
- Working knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques, with experience using Power BI (or similar platforms) to analyze and visualize project performance data
- Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to assess and communicate the impact of project changes, including schedule performance indicators (CPI/SPI)
Your Experience:
- Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering, or Engineering Technology
- 1-5 years of experience developing Level 1–5 schedules using Primavera P6 (or equivalent)
- Experience supporting capital projects in Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Power, or other heavy industrial sectors
- Strong understanding of project delivery phases (FEL, execution, commissioning), including associated activities and deliverables
