Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele) in Rochester, New York. This travel, temporary assignment begins 06/22/2026 for an assignment measured in weeks, with a weekly pay range of $1,797 to $1,876 and no guaranteed hours. Shift: 3x12-hour days. Work setting: hospital unit focused on adult and geriatric patients with cardiac and stroke diagnoses, on a 20-bed MS/Tele unit. Orientation is 4 hours. This role requires NY licensure in hand to submit and involves floating within scope to MS, ICU, or ED as needed.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care for adults and geriatrics on a MS/Tele unit, with primary diagnoses including cardiac and stroke conditions
- Monitor telemetry, interpret dysrhythmias, and participate in rapid response and code events as needed
- Administer medications, manage peripheral IV lines, and perform phlebotomy and IV placement with competency
- Support oxygen therapy and non-invasive airway management; follow isolation precautions and proper PPE usage
- Document care and communications in the electronic charting system (Epic); collaborate with IV team, PT, Respiratory, Pharmacy, Social Services, Radiology, and Unit Secretary
- Participate in care coordination, discharge planning, and patient transport coordination; may float to MS, ICU, or ED within scope

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in New York (in hand to submit)
- BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification or documented competency
- Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience
- Phlebotomy and IV placement competency
- Ability to work in a MS/Tele unit and float to related departments within scope; Epic experience preferred
- RTO restrictions: No holiday RTO; limit total RTO to no more than 7 days; every-other-weekend requirement (EOW)
