Job Title:

Operational Excellence Manager

Summary:

Collaborate & support the site functional teams, to ensure INC1 & TG02 sites meets its key performance indicators and take their performance into new levels both Operationally and Financially.
• Change ambassador for both sites, drive positive changes in operations that lead to operational excellence and reduced operational costs.
• Teach, train, and mentor site team on best practices on SQCDP.
• Lead Manufacturing Digitization along with MOS deployment
• Bring Best practices synergy between Chennai and Jasmine

Responsibilities Include:

  • Working to Identify and champion opportunities for improvement initiatives, (OEE , POTIF, OpEx etc.)
  • Incorporate principles of lean manufacturing such as 5S, key TPS , TPM , TOC elements, etc. in coordination with the Site team.
  • Facilitate improvement/Productivity projects aligned with site strategies and priorities.    
  • Perform Operational Excellence Maturity assessment to generate Ideas and convert those ideas into Strategic/Breakthrough Projects then track its realization through daily management.
  • Building Continuous Improvement Culture through OpEx Maturity model -Mature to Advanced & WC      
  • Facilitating Manufacturing Execution System (MES) deployment
  • Leveraging Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to drive improvement projects.
  • Devising & Driving MOS
  • Belt Training and Certification (WB, YB, GB): Lead and facilitate training programs for Chennai and evaluate projects for certification (MU power user) (WB,YB,GB for Chennai) and WB,YB for all Momentive employees.
  • Maximizing the use of existing Digital Tool for reporting platforms, dashboards, analytics tools to streamline report management.
  • Cross-Site Collaboration for Knowledge Transfer
  • Identifying and implementing emerging digital tools for Operational improvements (AI, ML etc)
  • Supporting Site strategy deployment: Collect and organize relevant data from internal and external sources. Analyze trends, patterns, and KPIs to provide insights.
  • Lead KPI Data Integration and Visualization, Data analytics, Implement KPI trees (Layered metrics), Tiered meetings, meeting effectiveness, Leader standard work etc.,
  • Leading Value Stream Mapping & Standardization
  • Facilitate Cross site Opex Audits and Assessments

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

  • B.Tech / M Tech  (full time) in Chemical engineering with 5-7 years of experience
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification
  • Data Analytics Certification
