Responsibilities
The Mgr, Engineering-DT Campus will organize and manage work requests and projects within a defined area of responsibility, providing customer coordination, project estimation, and scheduling work to accomplish completion, by both in-house and contractor personnel. Reporting of work order completion, P.M.’s and project status is required. The Mgr, Engineering-DT Campus has responsibility for Norton Hospital, Norton Medical Pavilion, and Norton Children's Hospital.
Key Accountabilities:
- Maintains a participative, teamwork-oriented environment including recognition programs to acknowledge abilities, development, and achievement of the entire staff, training programs to ensure a culture of learning and growth, and communication to ensure a continuous two-way flow of information.
- Provides direction, guidance, and overall management to ensure operational integrity, financial viability, physical safety, and institutional compliance of all Norton Healthcare facilities. Utilizes a variety of analytical techniques to solve problems and report progress.
Drives company vehicles on or around Norton Healthcare’s campus or other facilities as assigned and needed.
- Develops, monitors, and tracks the effectiveness of Customer Service to patients, visitors, and fellow employees. Establishes and maintains communication with all levels of Administration and employees.
**This role requires driving Norton Healthcare vehicles, which could include transporting patients and visitors. You must have a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record**
