Job Description
- Participate in client meetings alongside the lead advisor
- Build, prepare, and present comprehensive retirement plans and tax strategies
- Develop and maintain client relationships with a focus on long-term trust
- Provide proactive support to advisors and clients, anticipating needs and opportunities
- Serve as an ongoing advisor for existing client relationships
- Provide planning recommendations across retirement income, Social Security, tax, Medicare, and investment strategies
- Assist with onboarding new clients and ensuring a seamless client experience
- Manage account paperwork and coordinate with custodians
- Maintain accurate client records in CRM
- Stay current on financial planning strategies and tax law changes affecting retirees
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Active Series 65 or Series 66 license
- Life Insurance license
- 2–4 years of experience in a financial planning or advisory role
- CFP coursework, CFP candidacy, or CFP designation a plus
- Solid understanding of retirement planning concepts — income planning, Roth conversions, RMDs, Social Security, and Medicare
- Familiarity with financial planning software (eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, RightCapital or similar)
- Knowledge of tax planning software a plus
- CRM experience
- Experience managing client relationships and communication
- Experience with account paperwork and workflows
- Strong communicator — confident in client-facing situations
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently

- Base salary: $70,000 – $95,000/year depending on experience
