Job Description

Role Overview and Responsibilities

We are seeking an Occupational Safety Analyst to join our team.

Based in Sorocaba, Brazil, you will be responsible for providing operational, documentation, and organizational support for Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) activities across projects. You will ensure legal compliance, process efficiency, team mobilization, and document control, while providing direct support to the HSE Coordinator. You will act as a liaison between projects, suppliers, clients, and internal departments, contributing to risk prevention and adherence to corporate standards—always aligning critical activities with and reporting them to the HSE Coordinator.

Team Mobilization and Management

Mobilize in-house staff and third-party contractors for projects.

Follow up on and ensure document compliance within relevant platforms.

Manage subcontractor documentation (including subcontracting letters).

Support the linking of contracts and access permissions, subject to HSE Coordinator authorization.

Monitor document expiration dates and supplier compliance status.

Project Onboarding and Support

Schedule onboarding sessions.

Support the approval, rejection, and resolution processes within portals.

Participate in periodic meetings and record minutes.

Represent the HSE Coordinator when authorized, ensuring immediate reporting.

Document Management and Compliance

Manage documents and platforms (e.g., Informatec).

Review HSE documentation and align critical issues with the Coordinator.

Organize Drive/SharePoint folders and draft/revise documents.

Support the review of labor-related documents linked to HSE.

Audits, Inspections, and Actions

Support audits, inspections, events, and training sessions.

Participate in investigations and submit analyses to the Coordinator.

Develop strategically aligned action plans.

Issue immediate reports on audits and site visits.

Internal Support and Supplier Relations

Follow up with the warehouse and procurement departments regarding HSE lists.

Oversee the activities of the apprentice. Support compliance, risk management, and operational requirements.

Meetings and Committees

Participate in client meetings and committees as directed.

Handle ACM/ACC matters in the absence of the Coordinator.

Participate in project kick-off meetings.

Prepare and submit immediate reports to the Coordinator.

Periodic and Critical Activities

Present a weekly overview of activities.

Handle emergencies, notifying the Coordinator immediately.

Issue post-visit/audit reports.

Execute strategic tasks with prior alignment.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with the following skills and motivations:

•             Higher education degree or Technical certification in Occupational Safety.

•             Intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.

•             Good oral and written communication skills.

•             Initiative.

•             Occupational safety awareness.

•             Teamwork.

•             Quality orientation.

Specific Knowledge

•             Up-to-date HSE certifications/training.

•             Regulatory Standards (NRs)—specifically NR-01, NR-06, NR-10, NR-11, NR-12, NR-18, NR-33, and NR-35.

•             Documentation related to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE).

•             Safety performance indicators (HSE KPIs).

•             Labor and social security legislation applied to occupational safety.

•             Intermediate computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, and general platforms).
