Custodian

The Custodian is responsible for a variety of maintenance, cleaning, and sanitation projects within West Edmonton Mall. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Performing the daily cleaning and maintenance duties for West Edmonton Mall’s common areas, food courts, washrooms, and offices.  Ensuring all set standards of cleanliness are adhered to at all times.  Checking all areas for any deficiencies and damages and reporting them to a supervisor. Ensuring WHMIS guidelines are followed at all times. Other responsibilities as required. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Previous cleaning experience is an asset.  Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently. The ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours a day. Excellent communication, and customer service skills complemented by a strong sense of professionalism and a keen eye for detail. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a temporary part-time position ending on or before September 8, 2026 that requires a flexible schedule Monday through Sunday, days, evenings, weekends and holidays.  Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.
