Fuel/Lube Technician – Mine Site
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Fuel/Lube Technician to support daily mining operations by fueling, lubricating, and performing preventative maintenance services on heavy equipment at an active mine site. This position plays a key role in maintaining equipment uptime and ensuring safe, efficient operations.
The ideal candidate will have experience servicing heavy equipment in mining, construction, quarry, or similar heavy industrial environments.
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts
- Day and night shift opportunities may be available
- Overtime may be required based on production needs and weather conditions
Responsibilities
- Fuel, grease, and lubricate heavy mining and construction equipment
- Perform daily preventative maintenance services and fluid checks
- Inspect equipment for leaks, damage, and maintenance concerns
- Maintain accurate service and fuel records
- Safely operate service trucks and fuel/lube equipment
- Follow all mine site safety procedures and MSHA regulations
- Communicate maintenance issues to supervisors and mechanics
- Keep work areas clean and organized

Qualifications
- Previous fuel/lube or preventative maintenance experience preferred
- Experience working around heavy equipment required
- Mining, quarry, or construction experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in outdoor conditions
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Ability to lift, climb, bend, and work in physically demanding environments
- Valid driver’s license required
- MSHA certification preferred but not required
Work Environment
- Active surface mine environment
- Exposure to dust, mud, noise, vibration, and changing weather conditions
- Requires standing, walking, climbing, and working around moving equipment
