Senior Systems Development Engineer

As a Senior Engineer, you will lead complex feature development, improve system reliability, and mentor teammates. You will contribute to design, ensure testability, and drive automation across the delivery lifecycle.

Responsible for design, definition, and implementation of complex system requirements for customers, and/or prepares studies and analyzes existing systems.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Designs and defines system requirements for complex customer systems, and/or prepares studies and analyzes existing systems
• Determines system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility
• Coordinates design of subsystems and/or the integration of total systems or multiple functions, and meeting quality requirements
• Ensures the manufacturability, reliability, and serviceability of designs
• Identifies, analyzes, and resolves program support deficiencies. Develops and recommends corrective actions
• Conducts benchmarking, testing, and analysis of products during all phases of the development process
• Documents results in technical reports, white papers, and online web pages
• Responsible for the end-to-end ownership of assigned system(s); interfaces with technologists, development, and marketing to define and optimize system performance and resolve performance problems

Essential Requirements 

• 5+ years of related experience 
• Proficiency in modern systems development and code review standards. 
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks. 
• Ability to explain technical details to non-technical stakeholders. 
• Track record of reducing defects and improving stability. 

Desirable Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree 
• AWS/GCP/Azure associate-level certification or equivalent tooling expertise
