We are looking for a punctual and detail-oriented Client & Operations Support Employee to our Client & Operations Support team at our Antwerp office.


About the Job

The Client & Operations Support team plays a crucial role in the day-to-day functioning of Saxo Bank’s Belgian branch. As a regulated investment services provider, accurate and timely processing of administrative tasks is key to ensuring a smooth client experience and compliant operations. You will be responsible for handling a variety of operational tasks, with a particular focus on managing deceased cases and stock transfers. These processes require precision, ownership, and close coordination with internal and external stakeholders such as clients, notaries, and other financial institutions.

The purpose of the role is to ensure efficient and error-free operational processing while contributing to a high-quality client experience. You will work closely with colleagues locally and internationally to guarantee that all cases are handled professionally, within deadlines, and in line with internal procedures.

Where will you be working?

You will join the Client & Operations Support team at Saxo Belgium, which currently consists of 4 people. You’ll become part of the collaborative and professional environment that characterizes Saxo Belgium, where around 30 employees many of them in their twenties and thirties work together to serve more than 120,000 clients.

Our office is located on the 18th floor in the heart of Antwerp, offering stunning views of the historic city center and within easy walking distance of the Meir and Central Station. Responsibilities

  • Manage and follow up on deceased client cases, ensuring correct and timely processing in line with legal and internal requirements.
  • Handle stock transfers accurately (incoming and outgoing), coordinating with clients, external banks, and other counterparties.
  • Perform a variety of operational and administrative tasks, ensuring completeness and accuracy of client data and documentation.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, notaries, and external partners to gather required information and resolve outstanding items.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth processing and efficient resolution of cases.
  • Monitor workloads and deadlines, ensuring tasks are completed within agreed timelines.
  • Identify inefficiencies or recurring issues in processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Your profile

We are looking for a reliable and precise team player with a strong sense of ownership. Ideally, you have 1 to 3 years of experience in an operational or administrative role, but motivated junior candidates with a strong willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.

  • You are a native Dutch speaker with a solid command of English and a basic knowledge of French. You communicate clearly and professionally, both in writing and verbally.
  • You have a strong eye for detail and work in a structured and punctual manner. Accuracy and completeness are essential in everything you do.
  • You are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. You take initiative and are not afraid to reach out to clients, notaries, or external banks when needed to move cases forward.
  • You are well-organized, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and remain focused under pressure during peak periods.
  • Experience with administrative systems or financial services is a plus but not required. A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn are key to succeeding in this role.
