Business Services Manager

Description
This role reports directly to one of our Client Service Partners, and can include some opportunities to get involved in some business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of growing businesses, involving reviewing various assignments and giving advice to clients where required.
- Management of individual clients to ensure the various deadlines are achieved in a timely manner
- Attending client meetings when required in person and via video link
- Assisting the Client Service Director with raising fee notes and management of work-in-progress
- Support Client Service Director and Partner in one-off project-based assignments
- Motivate, train, and develop Trainees, Seniors and other colleagues as appropriate including some line management responsibilities
- Potential to attend networking events and new client meetings with one of our Fee Earners.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- ACCA or ACA qualified with at least 2 years post qualification experience gained in an accountancy practice
- A knowledge of various software packages including cloud-based packages
- Ambitious and passionate about what you do, with strong communication and team working skills
- Experience in developing other members of your team
- Organised, enthusiastic, and self-motivated
- Line management experience would be desirable
