
Distribution Center Outbound Coordinator
Job Description
Overview
As an Outbound Coordinator you will work as part of a team and support our customers with quality service. You will be responsible for completing inbound shipments by unloading deliveries and receiving product, moving product into the warehouse to designated storage locations, process requests and supply orders which may include pulling materials, packing boxes, placing orders in the outbound staging area, inventory replenishments, and location consolidations.
This position is required to work at the company’s Carrollton, TX distribution center (DC). Normal work days are M-F, and regularly scheduled hours vary based on position need. Occasional weekend and/or on-call hours may also be assigned.
This position is currently offering $20-$22hr based on experience.
Responsibilities
Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles by hand or with appropriate material handling equipment.
Receive inbound items using warehouse management system processes and handheld computer equipment.
Fulfilling and organizing orders to ensure customer delivery process is efficient and accurate.
Safely and efficiently operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and material handling equipment, to receive or transport product to storage and staging locations.
Accurate and efficient packing of outbound orders and staging for carrier pickup
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
Perform all duties and specific projects as assigned in a safe and productive manner
Qualifications
Experience with WMS and ERP applications such as Oracle, SAP, Manhattan, or Blue Yonder
Experience with handheld scanners and barcoding
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
At least one year experience operating material handling equipment with no accidents or incidents, to include forklift, order picker, and turret truck
Ability to accurately perform basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy, quality of work, and customer service
Demonstrates initiative and ability to handle multiple tasks/responsibilities under pressure
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work with others and contribute to a positive team/work environment
Strong organizational skills
