Job Responsibilities:
Ensure material movement to meet customer demand by serving as the point of contact to work with business supply chain and customer services. Ensuring the efficient movement of material in support of minimum inventories and specified Customer Service Levels by addressing issue resolution, reviewing procedures, through SAP expertise and interpersonal skills with Logistics Suppliers
Receive distribution plan from Distribution Requirements Planner and enters STO in accordance with the distribution plan within the defined lead times required.
Ensure that all STOs are tracked till the material reaches the destination warehouse and is receipted in the source systems (SAP) - Follow product through transportation and into warehouse when released in customs, with appropriate SAP entries and monitor receipt of goods based on requests from CSRs/sales team or supply chain to identify estimated receipt dates of shipments
Monitoring 3rd party warehouses who does SAP transactions for DuPont, assist in trouble shooting - GI for STOs/Customer deliveries in SAP to support operations, GR of 3rd Party POs etc.
Work closely with 3PL shipping sites in the areas of labelling / repacking etc. to ensure product safety, compliances and customer requirements.
Monthly Inventory reconciliation for the plant codes handled along with Root Cause for the non-matching inventory and subsequent actions.
Lead annual counts for inventory to ensure inventory accuracy.
Write-off/Write-on of inventory with adequate approval processes in place as per SOX compliance (Short receipts/over receipts/incorrect batch/disposal etc.)
Continuously work on improvement in operations area to simplify operations through related projects. Also, support projects led by BU Logistics/ Logistics Specialists in areas of optimization/savings.
Monitor the appropriate metrics, conduct 1st level root cause analyses, and take appropriate corrective actions to address logistics issues by working closely with Logistics Specialists, BU Logistics Specialists and APAC modal leaders as required.
Effectively interact with various functions - operations, sales, customer service, corporate logistics, business supply chain, external warehouse contractors, and service providers (Freight Forwarders, 3 and 4PLs, carriers, etc..) to assist in resolution of operational issues related to shipping or port upsets, carrier and freight forwarder performance issues, order placement/paperwork issues, transportation asset availability issues, etc.
Maintains integrated relationship with Broker, Freight Forwarder and Customs and communicates any information required to prepare paperwork, etc.
Interact with corporate customs and international trade group to coordinate import license needs and provide required documentation
Interact with Distribution Requirements Planner for short term shipment plan changes and impact on plan
Execute processes and manage/review/cross-check documentation required for product delivery and product transfers including import/export activities and customs clearance.
Serve as contact point for contract warehouse operations to escalate issues associated with warehouse performance to resolve short term exceptions and coordinate with Logistics Specialist to perform Root Cause Corrective Action analysis
Book space for containers with Freight Forwarders
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
3–4 years of hands-on experience in logistics operations, supply chain, or distribution planning, with strong exposure to inventory management, and customer service
Solid SAP expertise for tracking shipments end-to-end; familiarity with APO and BW is an advantage
Strong knowledge of international logistics and trade compliance, including export/import regulations, customs clearance, duties & taxes, and transportation standards (e.g., IATA, IMDG, DOT, REACH)
Experience in inventory control and reconciliation, including cycle counts, annual stock take, variance analysis, and root cause corrective actions; exposure to SOX-compliant processes is preferred
Continuous improvement mindset, with experience supporting or leading operational improvement or cost optimization projects; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus
Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with strong data tracking and reporting capability; familiarity with digital tools (e.g., Copilot) is advantageous
Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken) with the ability to interact effectively across global teams and external partners
Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-time-zone environment (+/- 2 hours flexibility)
