The Director of Infrastructure, Cyber Security, & IT Operations is responsible for delivering high-quality, reliable IT infrastructure and operations to the company. This position is operationally responsible for ensuring the global availability, integrity, security, and scalability of all IT systems and infrastructure.
IT Infrastructure Essential Functions:
IT Strategy: Develop and implement an IT Infrastructure strategy and implement that strategy across our entire enterprise
IT Operations: Be accountable for a high-performing computing infrastructure companywide, including, but not limited to, planning and management of operations and production support, systems, release management, business continuity, network operations, telecom, cloud services, help desk, and field support
Domain Migrations: Lead the integration and migration of new networks, email tenants, hardware and software, servers, etc., as the company continues to acquire new businesses
IT Telephony: Evaluate and recommend an infrastructure roadmap. Oversee maintenance of VolP and any related equipment, services, and platforms. Develop a comprehensive service management capability
IT Standards: Manage the configuration and deployment of network devices and firewalls. Implement and maintain a plan for managing patching, routine maintenance, and backups. Manage cloud infrastructure
IT Support: Develop and implement service delivery and support mechanisms based on best practices. Develop policy and procedures
IT Cyber Security Essential Functions:
Cybersecurity Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to protect the organization from cyber threats and align with business objectives.
Team Management: Lead and manage the cybersecurity team, including security analysts, incident response managers, and network security engineers.
Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in IT systems and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
Incident Response: Oversee the response to cybersecurity incidents, including detection, containment, eradication, and recovery. Develop and implement incident response plans.
Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations (e.g., PCI, HIPAA, GDPR) and report on the organization’s cybersecurity posture to senior leadership.
Collaboration: Work closely with other senior executives, such as the CIO and CFO, to ensure that cybersecurity efforts align with overall business strategies.
Competencies:
Strong infrastructure and operations leadership experience.
Significant experience with M&A activities, IT governance, and general controls.
Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols.
Experience with system integration post-acquisition. Problem-solving/analysis, Project management
Supervisory Responsibility: This position has direct reports within the IT operations and support capabilities, specifically other system and network administrators, along with cloud engineers.
Travel: Some minimal travel is expected for this position.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
Experience: Significant experience in IT security and cybersecurity management, typically 7-10 years with a proven track record in a leadership role.
Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA, are preferred.
