Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 / hour

Description

Canine Country Club and Wellness Center is looking for a full-time kennel technician to join our team.
We are a boarding, grooming and wellness center located in Dallas, TX. We offer a training and a career path to become a veterinary technician/assistant.

Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:

  • Provide daily pet care services, including feeding, watering, and monitoring the health and comfort of boarding and grooming pets
  • Perform pet bathing and basic grooming support for animals of all sizes and temperaments
  • Maintain clean, sanitary kennels and facilities by following strict cleaning and disinfection protocols
  • Deliver safe pet handling and supervision, ensuring the well-being of all boarding guests
  • Administer medications as directed and observe pets for any changes in behavior or health
  • Support veterinary staff by assisting during exams and procedures when needed
  • Engage in client communication, both in-person and over the phone, providing updates and excellent customer service
  • Follow detailed feeding instructions and care plans with accuracy and consistency
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy animal care environment with strong multitasking skills
  • Remain active and on your feet for extended periods, handling physically demanding tasks throughout the day
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a passion for animal care in all daily responsibilities


What You'll Bring:

  • Must have previous animal experience
  • Must have sufficient physical strength, mobility, and stamina to lift and/or move heavy pets and objects
  • A sense of fun and teamwork – Smiles and laughter are required for all who apply
  • Dependable and able to work independently
  • The ability to monitor pets for signs of distress or disease
  • A willingness to learn and the desire to provide gentle, compassionate care for boarded and hospitalized pets
  • References, background checks, and drug testing are required
