Principal Engineer (Mechanical Engineering) (Ref HTD/113/PEM)

Reporting to the chief Engineer, you will work on the installation, maintenance, service and repair of various generating sets, diesel generator control systems and associated equipment including turbo chargers and fuel injections equipment. In this capacity, you will be responsible for:

Carrying out fault diagnosis and forward planning on assigned work/ projects

Effecting the most economical, effective and productive layout of electrical installations.

Ensuring that work performed under your control meets required standards.

 

Degree-qualified in mechanical engineering or any related engineering discipline ( possession of a relevant trade test certificate will be an advantage)

Minimum of 12 years hands on experience assembling and maintaining high power generators.

Registration with relevant engineering bodies will be an advantage
