Job Description
Essential Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings to plan installations
- Install, repair, and test plumbing systems (water, gas, sanitary, storm, and process piping)
- Measure, cut, thread, and join piping using appropriate tools and methods (soldering, brazing, welding, grooving, etc.)
- Install fixtures and equipment (sinks, toilets, water heaters, softeners, etc.)
- Lay out pipe routes and mark penetrations; cut openings in walls/floors as needed
- Perform system testing using air/water pressure to detect leaks
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environments; follow all PPE and safety protocols
- Support safety planning efforts and mentor apprentices as needed
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Active Journeyman Plumber license (required)
- 4+ years of plumbing experience
- Experience operating jobsite equipment (lifts, forklifts, etc.) preferred
