About the role | Mō te tūnga

 

•    Based at National Office in Wellington
•    Permanent role

 

 

Play a key role in one of New Zealand’s largest public sector transformation programmes.

 

This is a unique opportunity to influence end-to-end planning, align delivery across workstreams, and drive outcomes that make a real difference for communities.

 

You will be part of a transformation-focused planning function within MSD’s services for the future programme, working across multiple workstreams to enable integrated delivery planning and alignment.

 

The Senior Integrated Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining an aligned, end-to-end delivery plans across programme workstreams. You will analyse and integrate planning activities, maintain schedules, and provide insights that support aligned delivery across scope, timelines, and resources.

 

This role plays a critical part in ensuring effective programme delivery through planning expertise, cross-workstreams dependencies and sequencing risk identification, and continuous improvement of planning practices.

 

What you bring | Ōu pūmanawatanga


•    Proven experience in programme or portfolio planning within large-scale transformation environments
•    Strong understanding of delivery frameworks including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid models
•    Experience using planning tools such as MS Project, JIRA or Smartsheet, 
•    Ability to analyse data and provide insights to inform decision making
•    Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills
•    Ability to manage complexity, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
•    Ability/willingness to embed Te Ao Māori into BAU

Salary | Utu-ā-tau: $103,815.00 - $125,958.00
