What You'll Do
- You will be responsible for managing and resolving rejected credit card cases directly with customers and credit card holders in a timely manner, ensuring swift resolution and customer satisfaction.
- You will craft and maintain strong relationships with business partners to collect outstanding debt primarily through email communication while maintaining professionalism and clarity.
- You will solve customer queries and invoice disputes from partners by conducting detailed transaction research, analyzing discrepancies, and providing comprehensive documentation of actions taken to resolve outstanding debt or disputed invoices.
- You will effectively collaborate with internal and external business partners to improve collections processes, meet departmental expectations, achieve collection targets, and drive continuous improvement in AR operations.
- You will actively follow up on aged outstanding and credit collections, ensuring timely action and maintaining accountability for pending cases across various work queues.
- You will perform various accounts receivable customer service functions including providing AR outstanding reports, generating AR statements, processing invoice requests, and managing invoice and payment queries while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
What We're Looking For
- We seek a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who is target-driven with professional finance and customer service skills, demonstrating a proven track record in customer service excellence and B2B collections.
- You must be a proficient or native English speaker with additional language capabilities being a plus, particularly French or German, to support our diverse customer base.
- You should possess an excellent understanding of end-to-end accounts receivable processes with B2B collections experience and good knowledge of Salesforce, along with strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- You must be capable of working collaboratively in a team environment while demonstrating the ability to thrive in a challenging and high-pressure environment with minimum governance, showing strong self-direction and accountability.
- Your skillset should include exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent time management abilities, coupled with strong analytical skills for transaction research and problem-solving.
- Finally, you should embody Amex GBT values of being people-centric, committed to continuous improvement, empowered in decision-making, partnership-oriented, and transparent in all communications and actions with customers and internal stakeholders.
