Sr. Business Analyst wanted by American Express Global Business Travel in Phoenix, AZ.
What You’ll Do:
- Examining user requirements, procedures and problems to improve existing systems and automation while reviewing and analyzing technical reports, manuals, periodicals, and other reference materials to develop programs to meet organizational needs.
- Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate go-to-market plans. Define the overall product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap, aligning with company goals.
- Manage the product backlog, deciding which features get built and in what order, balancing user needs with business value, Drive the product and business-planning processes for cross-functional. Analyze product requirements and develop appropriate programs to ensure they’re met.
- Generating standard or custom reports summarizing business, financial, or economic data for review by executives, managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Performing data analysis for financial management systems.
- Improving systems by studying current practices, designing modifications.
- Analyzing business and engineering and data processing problems to improve application systems and implement solutions.
- Being responsible for reviewing assigned business process from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial, and technological risks.
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Conducting or coordinating tests to ensure that financial and time tracking tools are consistent with defined needs.
- Managing timely flow of business intelligence information to users.
- Maintaining or updating business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems or methods.
- Synthesizing current business intelligence or trend data to support recommendations for action.
- Maintaining library of model documents, templates, or other reusable knowledge assets.
- Proposing innovative and practical solutions to address business challenges.
- Communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Participating in project definition workshops with other teams to develop detailed business requirements and documentation.
- Working closely with other business units to understand their need business strategy, processes, services, roadmap, and the context in which the business operates and implements the enhancement in the existing tools.
- Providing support for various test levels and being responsible to ensure environment readiness for deployment.
- Ensuring the configuration and other required pre-requisites are completed and approved by the portfolio manager before confirming the deployment to production.
- Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Preparing data flow diagrams and process definitions.
What We’re Looking For:
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance or related field.
- Must have 4 years experience as a Netsuite Suite Project Pro (PSA) Administrator including API configuration, permissions, customization, and service requests.
- Must have 4 years experience using SQL, Tableau, and Advanced Excel for Financial and Data Analysis.
- Must have 4 years experience with Purchase Order and Invoice Management with global suppliers.
- Must have 3 years experience in Compliance Management including controls, artifacts, and audits.
- Must have 2 years experience in product management, including requirement definition, design, and testing.
MAY WORK FROM HOME WITHIN COMMUTING DISTANCE TO OFFICE. Salary range: $115,710-$143,000/yr. #LI-DNI
