J.D. Irving Limited Northern New Brunswick is seeking experienced Cooks and Cook Assistants to join our dynamic team at our Boston Brook Camp location.
- Assist Head Cook as required
- Prepare daily meals (breakfast, lunch, supper) for a large crew
- Manage food inventory and supplies, ensuring efficiency and minimal waste
- Maintain top-notch cleanliness and food safety standartds in all kitchen operations
- Accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences whenever possible
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, remote environment
- 2-5 years of Culinary Experience
- Experience cooking for large groups, ideally in camp or remote settings
- Solid knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work long hours and adapt to changing conditions
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
