Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team in Houston, MS. The Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating machine equipment.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate machine equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine cutting specifications
  • Ensure materials are cut accurately and to the correct dimensions
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Perform routine maintenance on saw equipment

Minimum Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a machine Operator or similar role
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lift heavy materials
  • Excellent communication skills

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and explosives. The noise level in the work environment is very loud where ear protection is necessary.

Pay Range: $22 - $24 per hour
